Niigma Films MZ, also known as “NFM,” stands as the premier international Film & TV production services company headquartered in Maputo City, the capital of Mozambique.

Our mission is to collaborate closely with our international clients, crafting cost-effective budgets, securing models, actors, crew members, and providing comprehensive transport and security solutions for film sets. Among our esteemed clientele are renowned names like HBO/Cinemax/Sony Pictures, NBC/Universal Pictures, RTL, Endemol, CNN, Discovery Channel, Rooftop Productions, Amazon Prime, Netflix, BBC Studios, Nova Productions, EndemolShine Group, and more.

At Niigma Films MZ, we pride ourselves on prompt communication, aiming to respond to all client emails within 30 minutes during our main business hours. Additionally, we offer the convenience of initiating live chat sessions with our producers via our Online Chat platform.

One of our key strengths lies in our well-established relationship with the Mozambican film commission, known as “INICC” (formerly “INAC”), and other local government agencies. Through this network, we can efficiently secure any type of film permit within 1-4 business days.

To facilitate shooting in Mozambique, Niigma Films MZ follows a systematic process with INICC, requiring the submission of the following documents:

  1. Work Contract: A formal agreement between Niigma Films MZ and the international producer outlining the terms and conditions of the project.
  2. International Producer’s Documentation: This includes the business registration or a copy of the license of the international producer.
  3. Passport Scans: Scans of the passports of all cast and crew members traveling to Mozambique for the shoot.
  4. Equipment Lists: Details of equipment to be brought into Mozambique and any equipment to be sourced locally, if applicable.
  5. Cast & Crew Details: Information on cast and crew members to be sourced locally, if required.
  6. Shooting Locations: Tentative or locked shooting locations in Mozambique.
  7. Budget & Schedule: A comprehensive breakdown of the project’s budget and schedule.
  8. Project Overview: Submission of the script, treatment, or executive summary of the project.
  9. Permit Fee: Payment of the permit fee, which typically amounts to 1% of the total expenditures in Mozambique.
  10. Production Insurance: Proof of production insurance coverage for the project.
